if the look of the car wasn't obvious enough, the way the car launched was dead give away.

When I was launching @ 1900-2000 the converter was flashing around 2800-3000rpm. With a TB and a 2 step I will be able to mash the pedal to the floor at a set rpm (according to what my converter will stall to) and when the lights come down let off a button on my steering wheel and hang on! It is possible that the car flashes to 4000rpm off the TB. If that happens I'll need some new shorts. :)

im curious, i think the 2 step is illeagal if you are gonna run in competion.... the guy at barona is always talking about electronics and non electronics when comes to different summitt series races. what do you plan on doing when comes to racing??????

It's easy. The 2 step is built into a MSD 6AL2 ignition. First stage is activated by the transbrake. If the rule for a particular race states no electronics then you just don't use the transbrake and the MSD will only recognize the rev limiter for top end.

Note: That summit series that was racing during our event was using electronics.

I guess if it's built to into the box then i would hope that dont see it, they're always saying you would have to unhook it. Im not sure which series alows the use of 2 step though, i just know they're always preaching about it for certain races. i thought of getting one only to find out that it's not alowed in some races when it comes to ffw or other events that i would want to try and race in.

It depends on the class that you run in. I want it mainly for fun and getting the most out of my car. It is not a matter of them seeing it. If the rules state that you can't use it then they usually want to see you disconnect the transbrake. Like I said, the transbrake activates the 2 step, so if you show that the TB isn't connected than it's all good because the 2 step will not work.
