Anyone know about how much it would cost to insure a 98 cobra for a 45 year old women, with one (claimed) accident, at least 10 years ago, and no tickets?

Edit - but my dad's also on the policy, and he has like 3 accidents. But only still on record. I am also on the policy, and have never gotten a ticket, or in an accident. And I'll be getting the good student discount soon as I get my transcript from school, and in 5 months, I can get good driver discount.

BUT I'm thinking, for now, it will be cheapest to have it on my mom as primary driver. We're with allstate.

Go to progressive.com and throw in the information. I wouldn't use the insurance company, but they give you several quotes from various companies. At least you'll have some idea of the cost.

Hmm, we already have 2 jet skis, 4 cars, and a motor home with them... So would it be the same as a new stand alone policy?

they may give you a multi vehicle discount.

I have AAA for the past 20+ years. No problem with them. I had an accident last year, total my SUV and they got the adjuster out right away and the settlement claim to me in a week. They paid off the SUV.

We've been with Allstate all my life, and pretty much since my parents started driving. We're actually the longest clients they have had. But the insurance is the cheapest anywhere for us. The owner of this branch has it set up a special way where we get it cheaper somehow.

Maybe he can hook you up with a special discount. You know they like to keep their clients happy.

Rofl. They at least like to keep us happy.... :p

I just did the ballpark at allstate.com and it ended up being 64 a month for a medium plan :) My capri is only 25 a month additional from what we had.

Go to mercury insurance they are cheapest by far, i had progressive and i got a qute for my self and my wife for our cars which i have the 02 mustang and she has an 09 lancer and they wanted 1100 per six months and then i got a quote from mercury for 850. So you make up your mind.... BTW our deductibles are 500.
