This 91 Notch was going to be our drift car but with the economy being the way it is we can’t complete it.
It has a 2.3L crate motor in it with about 30k miles on it. We wanted something different to play with the Import Boys, so we purchased a good running 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, and pulled the 2.3 Turbo Motor complete with computer and all sensors, radiator, T-5, and the 8.8 rear end (with disks).
We serviced the rear end, drained the gear oil and filled it with Royal Purple Full Synthetic, installed the rear end with Granatelli Motorsports Weightjacker Lower Control Arms, Ford Racing Upper Control Arms and the rear sway bar from the Turbo Coupe.
