Jacked up the car

So, just incase anyone sees my car rolling around with nor wickedstangs sticker i wanted to explain before someone says something stupid. Today when i was primering my hood something happened and the can exploded. Dont know how, but my entire car is covered in black ratto-can primer. I took a scotchbrite pad to most of it, but the decal got ruined and i had to pull it off. I dont think i will be driving the car much til i can get it cleaned up, but if you see it rolling around without a decal dont freak out....

Mine has no decals on it, not a big deal BJ..... Glad you were not hurt when the can exploded....

the paint is almost all off. but i had to use a scotchbrite pad and its all scratched up. i might be able to wetsand it and polish it....that will take a lot of work and a better polisher. or i could get a DA and sand it all down and take it to maaco and get it re-shot with black...including the hood for like 300 bucks

WD40 takes paint paint like that off pretty easy usually. Followed by claybar, soap and water. Sounds freaky though.-Shane

Couple questions and my thoughts....LOL

1. Why the hell are you priming a hood with a rattle can?????
2. Are you gonna paint it with a rattle can too???LOL

I think the way it happened was this:

BJ had been drinking all day. Goes out to garage to do the hood. Pulls car out into the driveway. Sets the can on the hood and goes to get more beer from inside the house. 3 beers later he comes out to spray the hood. When he does the residual heat from the sun had made the can almost like a bomb..... when he started spraying the heat coming off the can from the sun ignited the spray. The ignition sucked into the can and KABLOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEYYYYYYY. It tried to decapitate BJ....... But failed again.

Either that or the paint can has a racial issue with BJ's car......it wanted you to have a black and white car, not just black....LOL

haha, you guys are funny. no i wasnt gonna try to paint it gloss with a can....just wanted it to be black....and no, i stopped drinkin last night. and the car was in the garage....no sun in there. i dont know what happened. theres a big hole in the side of the can, looks like it got punctured on something, but it was just sittin on my cowl when it blew. maybe it was weakened before i got it or somethin....who knows.....all i know is my car looks like ass and runs amazing.....

Beejay, take it easy on the fox...not to many of us left. I'm cetain you'll figure out how to bring it back looking even better then before. Stay away from the exploding stuff, you're not deployed anymore.
