Well the voting is over the chads have been recounted and the President has spoken! With the beginning of the new year also comes new concerns and new happenings. When this vote started, I knew it would be close. Well we ended with a tie! Well this vote was not for POTUS, nor do we use an electoral college. Our club values the members opinions. The members have spoken and this months MOTM goes to both Whippled03Cobra and PapaTom!

CONGRATS to the January Members of the Month..........

In January they were selected for the following reasons:

1. Whippled03Cobra. In the less then a month, he had gotten the South Carolina chapter growing and membership has been exploding out of that chapter. He has already organized meetings to get all new members together and have planned club events for cruises, car shows, or get togethers for that chapter and has establish a discount program for Wicked Stangs member at a local dealership. He has even got membership cards for his chapter. He also wants to take on additional responsibility as a moderator on the site and he is also a donator to help support the site. His willingness to expand the influence of Wicked Stangs and his contribution to help the club grows and what he has accomplished in such short period of time is commendable and his effort should be recognized.

Great job and keep up the hard work for the club. I look forward to meeting you when I get back east.

2. Papatom. Not alot as he is a newer member, but I felt it was worthy of being on this vote. He showed up at Barona with a nice ass F150 and an awesome race trailer. This was because a member, Orange395W had stated on the site he would need a tow home from the track. Even though he had never personally met him, PapaTom said he would help. This isnt found very often anymore where someone will help out a stranger. He also is going to be hauling a hood for Albert to the shop so he can get it painted and installed.

LATE ADDITIONAL INFO: He donated a 351W that we will be able to use for the Racecar project.

PapaTom it was great meeting you and look forward to seeing the cars come out to the meetings instead of the F150 with the Hauler....LOL

To those that did not win, it is great that you were selected as a finalist. It shows that you have been really helping the club and I hope you all continue to represent the best in WickedStangs on and off the dragstrip!

Thanks to everyone that voted. Now start thinking of the nominations for next month, due to me by PM before 23 Febuary 2009. Remember to add a small write up as to why that member should be the MOTM.

Both are now ineligible for MOTM until August 2009.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!

Sounds like Dennis' car is a beast! I've never seen it, just from what I hear on the posts. My 07 GT500 will soon be a 725 hp Shelby SuperSnake...maybe, just maybe I can stand a chance???

well, some kind of sad news. If things continue the way they are right now, I'll have to skip the Super Snake Conversion. That's alot of pocket change to dish out and the future seems uncertain right now. The deposit has been paid as of January 08, but ....not sure yet.

Worse case scenario, I keep the GT500 looking great the way it is...AND I can buy VP's car!.....who knows. I have some serious planning do to in the up coming weeks and months
