Good Info Shane! I wonder how many people actually knew foreign countries actually did this. Although it is Discriminatory in a manner of thinking ,it does make sense to protect your own economy by making sure that the money stays inside your own borders in a program like Cash for clunkers.

Exactly...makes you wonder what our gov was thinking because well over 50% of the cars bought were imports. Japan was smart business wise but not very friendly politically as we were. Cant blame them even though we needed the boost more than they did. -shane

That is smart. Our government right now is more worry about pleasing other countries then it is taking care of ourselves. It starts from the top and we all know how that is going. :nonono: :nonono:
