I can respect that, CPR is a good reputable company. Now had you said DIE-NO-MIGHT, I would have had doubts about you! LOL

+1 on CPR. They did my gear install. In fact my car was the first 05+ mustang that they did a gear install on. Another great shop is Woodside Automotive. The do repairs on all makes and models, not just mustangs. The owner, Pierre, has a bad ass fox body that puts down over 400 hp.

I agree JBA is a bit expensive, but all my experience with them have been positive. They do excellent work and their customer service is top notch. Haven't tried any of the others, but may have to with the rec on here.

Might have been an isolated incident, but I know someone that had his 4.10s put in by JBA and they did a bad install. Not knowing the install was bad, he made a few passes at the track and the gear began making an awful noise. He took the car to SD Gear and Axle and they confirmed the install was bad. His gears were shot.

No, he took it to SD gear and axle. They (SD gear and axle) contacted JBA. Supposedly JBA told SD that install was correct. They didn't want to admit to a bad install.
On a side note. The tech inspector at Barona works at SD gear and axle. I believe he is the manager.

JBA can be a bit expensive for service. I would avoid going there installs, but for buying parts, it's a good place.

That was his mistake if he would have took it back they would have fixed the problem for sure I would trust them..they have worked on my car before and htough a little pricy I never had to worry about a thing and they kept my baby in garage for me as well as dropped me off and picked me up

I've been to JBA, had a little mishap but J. Bittle took care of everything and squared everything away, As stated before kinda pricey but they do good work. I have been to Dantes 2 times, Not a bad shop but I had limited business with him(bought a Diablosport from him). I wound up taking a trip up to fontana Ca to visit Adam at ST Motorsports, He's one of the best I've seen and turns out some really nasty Stangs.

I have heard grea tthings about this guy Adam. HE is sopposed to be one of the best tuners for Diablo on west coast. If I ever do a dyno tune it will be him that works on my car. I went with BAMACHIPS for my latest tunes and for a e-mail tune I cant complain my car is running excelent and have track times to prove it lol

They dont do Diablo Mav and I am not switching to SCT for another 800$ for tuner and tuning. I will just go to LA and get Adam to tune ther car. It is running well now though so not complaining

Only thing I'll suggest is look for the X-cal2 out there for sale. Since SCT Live wire and SCT Xcal 3 have come out, I have seen some cheap Xcal 2 unlocked and for sale on other forums. May not be worth your time and effort to drive all the way to LA?? But gas is cheap again and you'd be driving the Stang up there sooo... forget what I said and drive to LA

How much do you think JBA would charge for a performance tune and a dyno run??

I talk to Bruce he quoted me $300-$400 (if you have SCT chip or Xcal) for a dyno tune depending if you meet their 'Pre-Dyno tune' criterias. You can ask Bruce to send you the 'word' document.

Dante's

Have you heard of Dantes modular performance? He is cheaper and does excelent work.

Just left there to dyno tune my 2009 GT500 (531rwhp/509rwtq) and he is very reasonable as far as price. My car runs much better now than the tune from evolution. I trust him.
