No I am actually out in Georgia ow no longer in Victorville but wasnt at Edwards anyway last base I was at when I was AD was Macdill in Fl.
I am a reservist now

Mineman 1st class(MN1(SW) stationed on a Coastal Minesweeper(MCM) out in Bahrain just off the coast of Saudi. We are forward deployed now but our main base is in Corpus Christi, Texas. But look out cause our base is closing and all our ships are moving to San Diego spring of 09. I heard we will be out at Point Loma and hope so. I have always been a Combat(CIC) Mineman with schools such as Fathometer, SQQ-32 Sonar, SYQ-13, GEEKS, navigation. But now I am on deck and run the armory and the ships small arms instructor. I have 16 years in and cant wait to retire. Basically our ships hunt and dispose of underwater mines before they disable or sink our subs and ships. -Shane
