[Jul 7, 2012] Big Bear Cruise and BBQ (San Bernadino, CA)

Alright Guys and Gals. It has been a while since the I.E. set something up so lets get it rolling.

I would like to set up a BIG BEAR cruise from san bernardino up the front side of the mountain. I just drove it on Saturday for the first time and it is an awesome run. For those of you that remember the Temecula Winery Cruise from 2010 this run has more twists and turns but alot smoother so Emilio doesnt have to worry about throw up this time around LOL.At the end of the Cruise there is an awesome Park called Boulder Bay park. or we can cruise into the village for shopping and food. I dont mind lol. that will get your spouses or girlfriends excited to go allowing those of you needing that extra help to go.

I want to set it up for July 7th
meetup at Pat and Oscars in San Bernardino at 7:45am
head out to Big Bear by 8:00am

Unfortunately that is the same day as the CCC Motorsports Open House. Wish I could make both.
 
Well I was kinda stoked on this one but work just boned me and I gotta work till 2am friday night saturday morning, so getting up at 6 to make it there is kinda out of question, ugh, next time

You know what Jesse, it is kinda early... Let me see if maybe we can make it a late afternoon cruise. Maybe around 1 or 2pm. That would be nice to catch some fresh mountain air in the afternoon and then get some lunch up there. Not to mention we'll all be rested up. I'll PM Dennis and see if that's cool.
 
Dude that would be awesome, if not that late I can a little earlier than 1 or 2, I'm just 2 hours away from san bernardino so to get there by 7:45 I'd be leaving less than 6 hours after I would be getting off work lol, but if its not possible its all good to dude, I don't expect everyone to change their plans just for me...

I hear you! In all honesty I was kinda thinking it was early too. I text him so we'll see what's up... I don't think it should be a problem.
 
I have people that are planning on going that go into work at 2pm. I would love to have as many people to come as possible. I wouldnt mind pushing back an hour or two. Dont see too many people getting upset about that.
 
I can leave vista at like 8, gps says 2 hour drive but I'm pretty sure I'll be faster than that, if that's to late it's all good I'll meet you guys at the spot, half way up the mountain if I can catch up lol thanks again and I really hope I'm not inconveniencing a bunch of people

Also please everyone with a go pro please bring it or if you can borrow one please do. Lets make a bad ass video of thos canyon run. I have one ehich will be mounted on thd passenger door for a bad ass shot of what is coming ahead for the video. Thanks

Didn't think to look at that section of the forums too, I check site pretty regularly just getting used to it still I guess, oh well I've been itching to carve up the side of a mountain lately and I have plans up in murieta that night too, have fun a ccc and I'll rep SD chapter up in big bear this weekend.
 
Thanks Jesse. I checked the event section before rescheduling it on the 7th and didnt see anythign about CCC or I would have made it for a different day.
