YOu put slicks on that car and it will be in the low 11's your mph is already there... The only problem is once the tires grab your clutch is going to slip... so then tires and clutch is the next mods to do.. I mean whipple said that the blower and boost your at is fine for your setup

Yeah, I still want the forged internals though... But I must say after last night at the track I have far less fear that I am going to grenade my motor. I didnt hold anything back last night and it ran flawlessly!!! Hats off to Whipple!!

Dont get your hopes up because I will learn how to launch this car and it will be on like donkey kong:rofl: It pulled great as soon as it hooked because I should be around a 12.9 with that MPH. Anyways good time nonetheless, and it was great to see Joe's car gettin it done. I bet with a good set of slicks he will be in the 11's no problem.

well i wouldn't be makin a statement like the one i made if i didn't have plans to back it up. with my new suspension, gears, trans, and that outher thing thats in the works.... i should be bottom 12's-mid 11's no prob. i'll let ya'll guess what i got planed but i ain't telling

while we are talking about the 1/4 mi what are the tracks rules on ET vs safty equipment? how fast will just a helmet get you?

I think just a helmet will get you to 10.9. Anything quicker requires a cage I think. Dont quote me on this one.

Nice run Joe with more practice on the street tires I can see you getting in low 12's. When I launch mine I usually slip the clutch and try to come out of the hole like I am leaving a light on the street. I just slip it and take off fast. I usually pull 2.0 and I ssn best of a 1.8 on my street tires. Last night I pulled a 2.0 60 ft and ran a 8.3 in the 1/8th I cant wait to get back from deployment. I am doing forge internals, heads cams ect.. Nice runs bro. Did dustin go with you guys? His car is getting some good ET's too isnt he?
