I would try and check the compression on the engine. You can get away with low boost levels if want to keep the engine reliable.

yeah you can get a set of heads for like 500 bucks or even less for at set of used heads.

just try to put a list together and buy the stuff as needed. I would try to buy the major stuff as cheap as possible and buy gaskets and head bolts ect. as needed from a speed shop or order them from a website.

That kit doesnt incluse valve covers. You need to count the holes on the head you get, and dont forget to add two bolts for each side that bolt to the timing cover. You should be able to pick that kit up seperated for under $1000 if you stay up on craigslist and ebay. Modularfords.com has a parts section where people sell useed parts. Save the other modey for cams springs and retainers. And i think summit makes a cool tool that hold your timing chains up while you change the head where you dont have to retime it and take chain totally off. Saves a lot of time.
