i have seen guys do that before, and they got accepted....barona is pretty loose on the rules and regs....

Or you can go to autozone and get a universal bracket for $15.
That bracket require any drilling or anything?
Why not just go to the junkyard and get a hold down for your car? It will probably cost $5.
Because I have no idea what a hold down is...
Your battery sits in a tray. There is supposed to be a plastic wedge that bolts down on the engine side of the battery that holds it in place.

I personally have two rods that have wing nuts and a rubber band basically that goes over the battery between the posts. no way is that going to not pass.

My buddy that drives a 240Z and used a belt on his battery!! It worked..
