well escape sits 5 plus it fits your family you could trade it in if you expand your family. they are a great bang for the buck. i bet if you ran it by the wife she would like it imo its not a huge SUV which you need why?

okay, i have 2 kids. that makes 4 of us. what happens when my family visits? where are they gonna go. or when we take friends out?? i like car-pooling. i know im really picky when it comes to what i want. well, talked tot he wife anyway and it turns out we are gonna keep looking until i get back. were gonna sell the pontiac before i leave and pocket all the money from when im gone. the 7k+ tax refund and possibly my 27.5k re-enlistment bonus. (dont know for sure) then when i get back pay cash for an SUV and some sort of saily driver for me. (still unknown on plan, but something will happen)

Hey BJ....a rental for a week at a time is way cheaper than going big baller status with a huge SUV....yes it is convenient but think of what your family needs not what a visitor will need once or twice a year.....

VP my dad bought a Escape Hybrid and said that it is not as good on gas as it states.....go figure... he said it was a waste of money. If you drive only in the city it would be good cause the engine doesnt need to run that often. But if there is a highway involved or speeds over 35....it gets crappy mileage with the small 4 cylinder.....

BJ get a used TBSS from Carmax......they have decent pricing on them......and if you decide to get a new Ford let me know I will get you a X plan that you could use. It is only about 75 below invoice though. You should be able to get lower than that right now......

rgr my friend has a normal escape ant its ok for a mini suv my friend also said TBSS would be good for bj

i love the TBSS, but i dont like the mileage. which the aviator sucks at too. but the ss comes in AWD, but it doesnt have a 3rd row. ugh....so many decisions.

test drive! take a weekend and just go test drive like 6 SUV's yer interested in and compare mpg

Beejay I dont know if your intrested but that guy i posted about with the creame one from work wants to sell his. He had the bumpers and running boards painted to match car, 2 12 inch subs and 22'2 I think he said he take 14 for it..its a nice looking truck
