Line Lock

Line lock is a solenoid that actually locks the front brakes, so that you can do a brake stand and warm up the rear tires. As long as you hold the little button, the front brakes will stay on.

It's also used to prevent the car from taking off of the starting line too soon and can be used as a hill brake

I am installing one on my '06 this week because I'm heading to the track and dyno this coming Saturday. I paid about 150.00 for mine this past summer. Just never got around to putting it in because I didn't wanna mess with bleeding the brakes until now.

Anyone Know Anything About Line Lock's?

Anyone with a 1994 and newer mustang with traction control or ABS should have a line lock....other wise it is going to tear up your Rear Brakes and Clutch in a manual CAR! Line Locks should be one of the first mods!!!!

AND they are cool to!

I will be adding one soon as well. The thing is you dont need a lot of power for install. You have enough power now to turn your tires over than you can put one to use. It is a cheap part as well. I think you can get a decent one for a round a 100$ look in summit racing
