I seem to notice alot of people have spec stage 2 or 3's, i would upgrade to handle the power from the turbo that plan on putting in.

my car has a clutch thats to strong for the hp that the motor makes and untill it heats up it's a little rough. a spec stage 1 is good for 485lb of trq i'm sure your not makeing that much yet.

no, he's not. i would leave it until you sw3ap the tranny, then buy a clutch. if you buy it now its pointless. yours isnt slipping. if you really want to buy one give it to wkdrsh...he needs it

What i think he has planned is a built long block with a t-76 turbo so... i think he'll need that stage 2 or 3 eventually

i personally like mcleod clutches. i dont know how much power your motor will be making but mcleod. its what i have in my car, and i have not had a problem with it. i can give you the website but you will need to talk to a rep about it for prices. http://www.mcleodind.com/index.html

all i'm sayn' is that he doesn't need motor. and if you don't need one the i'd say save the chash (that would cover gas to go to FFW and then some.) here's an idea if you have an itch so spend more money on your car. pick up some street tires to go to FFW.
then when the weekend is over you can have fun blowin' them off.

i agree about saving until he has the power but if his clutch is on the way out the door he doesn't have much of a choice.
