low hanging exhaust

Hey guys, i have a 02 V6 with a few slight mods to it, one of those is a pypes true dual header back exhaust with an off road x pipe, i know not many of you have V6s, and i dont know how many of you have pypes exhausts but my exhaust hangs really low, like 3 inches off the ground (i scrape EVERYWHERE!) and i have stock springs on my stang still, does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? and how can i fix this with out putting too much stress on the header bolts?

got pics? the header joint will not be a problem, what you gotta do is tuck the x-pipe up closer to the car. for that your probably gonna have to know how to weld, or go to an exhaust shop

take it to a muffler shop... they can fix it

I had pipes performance off road x pipe and i never had any problems on my 95 6


and my 95 is on the ground

lowered 4 inches in rear 2 inches in front

thanks guys, i was hoping i wasnt going to have to weld it cuz i wanted to be able to easily take off my cut-outs and put the cats back on it when i needed to get it smogged, but o well, you guys are alot of help!

you will be able too. they arent gonna weld up the joints....just the hangers to get them closer the car.
