Magnapacks

I won a set of new magnapacks #15883. I paid only $310 with shipping handling. I have heard they sound better with an x-pipe. Would an FRPP X-pipe work with this set-up or do I need the magnaflow true X pipe, or do they sound good with just the set-up provided in the kit (mid-pipe/mufflers)?

No, just the pipe that will replace the H-pipe. I will be using the stock cats. I am thinking that the FRPP-X pipe will not make that much of a difference since it doesn't connect to the cats, but I could be wrong.

It's the 2 1/2" My car is N/A, so no need to run anything bigger than 2 1/2". If I like how the Magnapacks sound w/H-pipe, then I will just keep that set-up.

I installed the magnapack catback/axlebacks today at the Miramar Autohobby shop. Install took about an hr give or take 10 min. The sound with the magnapacks is awesome. It's hard to say if they are as load as my JBAs but the Magnapacks do have a deeper tone. They sound awesome when you hit the go peddle.

OK, what am I missing here? You "WON" these and still had to pay $310 for shipping?

Where did they ship from, Hawaii?
