Marine General at the Toy Drive is a FAKE!!!

They are talking about it on the news on how the military is going to revoke his sticker for the base, his privileges to Tricare, etc... I think the military is embarrassed on this one.

I worked MWR for 5 years on 32nd street, and as an employee representing the Navy and the base, we were taught what to look for so we wouldn't serve someone who was not deserving of the priviliges. We even had to confisicate expired ID's, boy the arguments we got in on that one!

wow how unfortunate. I hope that guy is ashamed of himself to no end. Black eye for the Marine Corps.

and the VFW Post, the News is all over them and it's not thier fault.

We were there the same day for our Toy Cruise, I shook the guys hand and said, "It's an Honor to meet you"

I'ld like to kick him in the balls right now!!!!!!

The VFW isn't at fault, but the news loves drama, that's what sells. As if it's not dramatic enough on its own.

There is no need to bail on them, unless of course the news finds out it was all a hoax to get press! ROFLMAO

The dude is in hiding in his home, went to the Base to get correct stickers on his car. So far he still has full access to the Base.

Trust me joker, there are a lot of people that want his a$$ right now. The Stolen Valor Foundation is investigating. IF he is convicted, all he will get is one year in prison.

A lot of us WS members shook his hand and had pictures taken with him at the VFW that day.

He will cop some kind of plea deal

I really dont see it as a black eye for the Marine Corps....I see it as a selfish individual whom had to pretend to be someone that he was not. For whatever his reasoning......he was wrong. I hope he gets what is coming to him. At least he has been revealed as a imposter.

There are some more questions to be asked:

Last night the News said he went and got the correct Base Stickers for his vehicle:

1. He falsified Govenment Paperwork to get the incorrect ones, why isn't his Base privledges revoked?

2. Was his ID card checked at Pass and Decal?

3. If it was and it said he was a Two Star, he forged a Military ID card and can prosocuted, correct?

This guy is a lot more hot water than just "Wearing a Uniform and Medals"!!

What is that supposed to mean?

I take the shaking head as, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN to this guy. The General in charge of the Army thinks it's more important to diversify then to have 13 people killed on a base in Texas. This is the land of the politically correct, you and my hug a tree foundation. There is not one military General/Admiral with enough guts to take anyone to task.

The days of General Patton and McArthur are a thing of the past. Even they were chastized in their time, until they needed someone with the balls to get the job done. :nonono:
