OK, so....with WickedLadies we are a sideline? Then I think the best thing for us is to create our own. I guess we don't bring good exposure to the club, lol. I believe we are a more positive part of the club. We aren't about dogging people on anything hehe. We are about having fun and enjoying eachother's company.

And if it's about donations then I think that Fastsleeper might have a lot on some of you, she has been a major contributer thru the years.

If this is a racing calendar I understand. But just on the cars alone? In my opinion they need to be cars that people want to look at...eyecatching..personalized...Engine mods....whatever. So what are the rules besides what Gibs has stated, cause what he stated would qualify many more to be in it ???

We do need a sidenote with engine mods on each car. With some that have two cars, need to choose which to showcase with the mods. Need a general layout. What would the cover look like. We need to get this rolling so we can haave it in jan 2010!

While I agree with what you are saying Star Angel.......I also agree with Gibs on the fact that THIS calendar is for the Member of the Month's from the past 12 months. I do think that you guys could make a Wicked "Ladies" Stangs calendar and think it is a great idea. I dont know you well enough to know what is sarcasm and what is not but for those of us that have worked very hard to achieve a MOTM award this statement could strike a few nerves....."In my opinion they need to be cars that people want to look at...eyecatching..personalized...Engine mods....whatever." I have spent many hours trying to assist people with car issues, am a Mod on here, Have been a helping friend on numerous occasions when I had other "things" I could have been doing, Have loaned out my personal tools, (some of which I never got back), Represented the club in numerous shows, races, parades, meets, hang outs, dyno days, and all because I love every minute of it. That is what getting MOTM meant to me. It is not just cause my car is all that and a basket of ice cream. It is what we as members have done to get the award voted on by "you" members. I am not trying to be a **** and I hope you dont take it that way but when you become MOTM, which I can see coming very soon, you will have your spot on the calendar for next year.

I also agree with Star Angle.

I do understand what this calendar is all about, don't get me wrong. I just think that with the calendar, we as a club, should submit pics of our cars in cool places to show off the cars that we have. Then have the club as a whole vote on the best looking pics.

Well then that would not be a MOTM calendar. It is not best looking car calendar. What part of this is people not understanding?????? There is no reason we can not do all three calendars. Have the MOTM, Wicked Ladies, and then Best of calendar.

NO many more will not qualify....... unless there are more than 12 months in a year..... Member Of The Month is just that. In order to be in the "Member of the Month" calendar, you would need to be a member of the month. What I told to FS was the things you need to do to be selected as a Member of the Month.....not what you need to do to be in the calendar. There can only be 1 member of the month.The only exception to that is that His and Her Pony were for December as they acted together for the toy events. I never said that your car shouldnt be in a calendar.....in fact I said that you should be.....just not this one. If you think I was saying this to start problems I wasnt. I was clarifying that this one os for the past MOTM's not everyone, unless Emilio changes it to a Wickedstangs Calendar. It has nothing to do with Racing either....all but the last 2 MOTM's were voted on based on what they had done during the month that they were selected. Are there people that have done alot and deserve to be recognized.....YES there are. Did they get voted in as a MOTM....some didnt. It happens. McCain had a good background for President, but he isnt....and he doesnt go around putting his picture in a Presidential calendar either.

I wasnt being a smart azz or trying to start anything, just clearing things up. But I guess that isnt enough.
