San Diego guys.....

Our May 25th swapmeet event is approaching soon. From a previous WS meeting, some of you are aware that I will be having a trailer available to load up all your swapmeet stuff so we can have it all in one area, and make it easier for everyone to transport.

This trailer will be at my girlfriends house in Chula Vista, near South Western College, on Sat 23May and Sun 24May. Since we will be getting our stuff ready for the event, my girlfriend and I are offering to host a BBQ there. There's plenty of room for the whole family and we can set up a pool for the kids, or grown up kids :saint:

I will have the basic burgers and hot dogs provided, if you have special food requests or specific drink needs, please feel free to bring watcha like :hello: , or what you'd like to share.

DATE: Saturday May 23
TIME: 12 Noon til -???

1726 Ithaca Street
Chula Vista CA 91913

If you can't make it to the BBQ, you can always drop off your stuff throughout the weekend. Just call me ahead of time to arrange the drop off time.

If you're dropping off items for the swapmeet, bring some towels, blankets or moving blankets to protect from other items shifting in the trailer during transit.

Pets -OK, 2 kid friendly dogs in the house :hello:

No problem.

As mentioned, if you can't stop by that day, you still can drop it off throughout the weekend

ok - I'm confused

is this a everything goes kind of swapmeet? Sell the sofa, the christmas lights, and the dog bed kind of swapmeet? or is this only a swapmeet for car parts?

Hey all,

If you will be bringing items to load into the trailer, please try to have it in boxes or in a way that it will not roll around during transit. Maybe securing straps (I have a few) for large items, blankets or boxes/crates for small items etc....

The floor has diamond plating and D-rings, but the walls don't have anchor points and can scuff easy.

Ok, for those coming by on Saturday,

I have the basics.....burgers, hotdogs, hotlinks, soft drinks...etc.

If you'd like anything specific or stuff you'd like to share please feel free to bring it along. I'll have a few beers but I don't know everyones tastes so it will be basic Bud Light, and not much either since left over brew usually just sits around here.

You can't miss the house, its the only one on the block with the white car trailer parked outside.

SEE YA'LL THERE!!!
