man blower cam specs are just weird compared to NA.

less intake duration, more exhaust, less lift on intake, again more exhaust than my stage 2 na's my cams are 111 LSA though

lot of people run these on other forums and like em alot, sound good to me...

probably safer than my hitechs honestly. less intake duration/lift means its easier to clear.

All of the 2v motors that are having PTV issues are on the intake valve

thats what i read about them thats why tfs swapped the intake side to the other side on the new heads...

swapped sides?? all they did from what i could tell was moved the angle of the valve more toward the center. the cam geometry is still all the same.

yep they twisted the intake to the other side, that is why they can run a .600 cam/s

well congratulations 02gt,,, looks like we have another mmr fan in the forum!!! they are the shizzy, and on top of that theyll offer you any support you need throughout the build!! which is absolutely great. that being said, when you get them remember, they arent a drop in motor per say!! well it is, but there are alot of differances between their block and what you have now!! some mounting points are differant, and are used in differant ways!! if you need any help, i still have the part numbers laying around for the extra parts youll need from ford for the install!! no worries, its nothing big, just a few fateners/ studs etc that dont come with the motor!!

personally when i call i like to talk to chris,, hes got alot of experience with these motors, and can help you out alot with just about anything that you may have questions about!!

and gufi, hate to break it to ya dude!! there is definately a conversion for e 85, ive seen documentaries on the stuff (god im a geeker),, itll eat through your fuel lines in a heart beat!! and ive also heard that itll eat through filters and parts of your fuel injector if you dont have proper injectors, and then you need the tune!!

GOOD LUCK MAN!!!!

the tech rep mentioned something about some "plugs" on the block that a pain in the ass to get out, he said that i can buy them for 70 bucks when the time comes...he also was trying to get me to buy the windage tray which i declined but probably will buy when get every thing togethor...first and for most i need to get some heads for the build

OK,
I talked to MMR and they told me the block should be done by the end of the week or early next week, problem is if it's finished next week, im going to be in school starting tuesday, I will have to call them and see where they are at with the build, im hoping for friday though....

Ok,
after long time, i talked to MMR today my block will be done friday, i do...have access to a vehicle now(brother in law) So i appriciate the offers from One sik and papa tom.

On a side note i have found a guy on the MMR forums selling a set of ported and polished (stage 2) 2v romeo heads with new valve guides, over sized valves, comp cam high load valve springs for $600, they have been decked and cleaned, i dont know how much was taked off the heads but im waiting to what kind of compresion it will be, the short blocks comp will be 9.4 to 1 with the stock heads, these could push it in to the 10's pretty easily, which is fine all i have to do is run less boost....you guys think this a good deal?

yup i would find out for sure how much was shaved. you may not have the right pistons, and you dont want to smack the valve.

Ask Dante how much he can get you a set of Trick Flow fully assembled CNC heads.. He is an authorized dealer for Trick Flow and has them in stock... Pay the extra money for a known good set of heads.. Doesn't hurt to ask..

i had mmr notch the pistons with order, with these heads you cant beat the price 600 with springs, valves, port, ect, im not too crazy about spend 2000 on heads....

Heads are probably the most important aspect for any engine, but it's up to you. I would just say to make sure you get paperwork to insure the heads are legit. Find out the exact numbers on everything before you but. A little shaving can bump compression quite a bit. You are already at 9.4:1, so you may end up having to use a larger blower pulley to decrease boost in order to stay on pump gas.

That is just an example, but get paperwork and find out exactly what they have done before you buy!
