I am extremely happy with how the club has been going lately. We have been meeting up alot and going to a bunch of events :). I believe that in the coming months our chapter is going to get alot bigger. So, it is with that in mind we need to definitley have a solid meeting place. The last one we had did not work out to well. I dont know if it was the day or the location or what. I still firmly believe that Friday, Sat, or Sun are bad days even though we may get more participation, those will be the days that most if not all events will happen on. Jay and I were just talking and we are thinking that Dennys might be a good spot. We thought we could meet either the 1st Wed of the month or the 1st and 3rd Wed of the month. I would like to get your opinions on this. I am aware that there will be some schedule issue for some. No matter what day we pick there will be those that cant come.
Another way we could do it is meet every 1st wed of the month and then every (3rd some other weekend day) This way if someone cannot make it on week days they can get all the info and or vote on stuff at the second meeting. Then if we have a event scheduled that weekend we could just cancel the second meeting and the people could get filled in at the event. Anyway, please post your opinions here. Thanks.

Honestly, not too thrilled on Dennys. The wed and weekend thing is a great idea though. To me sonic seems like a good idea. You can eat your food right by the cars and can still be seen from 12th ave. Just my 2 cents though. Any other location ideas?

one of the reasons denny's was picked was because of the HUGE lot. mervyn's was closed down and that whole lot is now vacant. we wouldn't have to be worried about taking too many spaces. while sonic is nice, the amount of available spaces is limited there. when we met up to go to fresno that one night, we about took just one row. if we rolled there with our group last night, people would have to be parking at wal-mart. not exactly meet friendly. and we all already know what the owner of the property there thinks about car clubs.

ya the guy that owns the property at Sonic will shut us down if he finds out that organized events are being held there, but im down for any where... and i can finally make wed. meetings!

I AGREE with SIC on this one, im not too thriled with denny's . Maybee its because ive eaten there sooo much lately.

We shouldnt have to be looking for spots, with our club places should be begging us because of the attention we draw.. positive attention i mean..

What about Frostes in lemoore? the no dues have meetings there on thursdays, and they dont seem to have parking issues.

You mean Fosters?? We could do that. I know the owner pretty well. But if they are busy, we may have some parking issues.. Keep the ideas coming!!!

Black Bear Diner in Hanford has great food and a big parking lot. We could also intimidate all the ricers from this spot as well!

That Sonics owner is an idiot. I guess he doesn't like having big crowd buying from his restaurants. What a Putz! Screw him and just don't go there anymore. He don't need to worry about any parking issue, since no one will go. Let him beg WS to go back!

it's not the owner of sonic, it's the person who owns the land sonic is on.

Then that landowner needs to find a new way to make a living. Don't make sense to set this type of restriction for a drive in restaurant by not allowing car clubs to park there. Its not like you guys are not customers and are not purchasing food from the business. Dang, some people are just idiots!!!!

I'm not wishing ill will on the owner of Sonics, but I hope with all the restrictions it causes businesses in his lots to move.

same reason we got kicked from Kragens.. we drew in buisness to the area, but the land owner didnt want an organized event going on because of liabilities.. etc..

I vote no on hooters, because its to far of a drive for a meeting... Something local is my pref...

Blackbear sounds kool, maybee we can switch it up every month. Next time Ralley's.. or Hell, a taco truck in Lemoore, LOL.

When summer rolls around, and the evenings are nice, i say we meet outside, Also, parks can be a good idea, we can BBQ.
