He might be at Chiqutas...
thats a Air compressor water trap!!! lol... it will do the job though... now back to this rich mixture code... so the guy that did your tune pretty much just changed your timing... i believe a 12.0:1/12.8:1 a/f is a stock wot A/F.... correct me if im wrong?... 14:1 is a cruise or none WOT a/f stock...
if you got blow by going in your intake it could just as well be causing the rich A/F as well... what plugs you runing and whats the gap???
oh and most importantly whats your DTC!!!
you mihgt want to go down another heat range.... and i believe a p0172 is a lean code? so yea check it agian...
Now.... i was wondering if there are any direct indicators to the engine running too rich even though the A/F was set to 12 to 1 by RET. Im thinking of pulling the right bank plugs and looking at them. What should they look like if the engine if in fact is running "too" rich.
If the engine is running rich the plugs will likely be black. Why the hell did you order that thing when I told you 2 times in this post you could get it for $12.99!!!! Steeda sells it for $70 plus shipping!!!!
An Old timer once told me that "if you want to own a race car you have to learn how to work on a race car". You could have saved yourself $50!!
Anyway, a wideband is worth the money. You will never be in the dark about what's going on with the car.
When the car was tuned was there 91 in it? You don't add anything to your tank do you? It could be the way your MAF is clocked. Have you tried rotating it? We had an old member who had that same problem on a vortech blown 99 cobra.
