OK here we go, the last Member of the Month for 2008. We have several great nominations for this one. I predict that this is a close contest. Thanks to everyone that submitted a nomination this month. Remember if you are submitting a name please send a writeup about why that person deserves it. Otherwise I must create something based on what I remember that person doing. That doesnt always mean I hit all the reasons that you may have sent that persons name to me. Congrats to all nominees for being up for the MOTM. May your peers decide who it should be!
Without further delay, here are the nominees in no particular order.
1. Yosemiddysam- He has been helping people out with "How to" at the track. He has also been a constant feature at the race track representing WickedStangs with authority! Man that launch he had at Barona was amazing! Has also been upgrading his own ride with a new hood and a rim swap. Generally great guy that will drop everything and help you out when you need it. Your Cobra is BADAZZ!!!!! Great job, keep it up!
2. Orange395- 1 of the original WickedStang members and last month he reminded us of the club's roots. He arranged Mustang's Vs. The World at Barona and rededicated the club to drag racing. Leading from the front, he converted his only mustang to a track car to represent safe and legal racing. Additionally, he dedicated an entire night at race legal to assisting other members of the club. Although his car was not ready to run, he coached members through all the phases of racing and the ending results were four club trophies that included three first time racers! I think we have our training coordinator position filled now! Keep doing great things.
3. GT400SC- What can I say, easily the grumpiest old guy on here. He has really plastered the WickedStangs name all over SoCal and the other regions! He takes time out of his busy life to custom cut stickers for anyone in the club. They are usually ready before you can get to his place to pick them up! He allowed his vehicle to be the mule for a WickedStangs install day, and has been at several others to photograph and watch. He selflessly gives 20% of the cost for stickers and custom vinyl work to keep WickedStangs running. He is currently the top donator to the site! Great job and I love the stickers!
4. Roushed2- Not only did he recently start a club in Georgia, but he continues to add members to our East Coast member base and support us from the RIGHT Coast. He has also hosted events and is always advertising WS. He assists Emilio on various things through out the website. He shares his vast v6 knowledge with other members looking for ideas or that just have questions. Roushed is one of only a few pioneers on this site. Starting and getting a chapter up and running is not an easy task. He seems to have a decent following there in Georgia in a short amount of time. Great job Roushed!
5. VP 96Cobra- very helpful moderator toward new members. Continues to keep up his post count by reading every single thing that is written on the site. Has a very highly modified 96 Cobra that just keeps getting better. He has really helped out with Birthday announcements and member welcomes. Great job Moderator, way to lead by example!
