Well, the 4.6L DOHC engine is under the foxes' hood!!!

Unfortunately, its just laying in there with no bolts to restrain it. Turns out the lincoln mounts don't work!! Well, I did some research and went to autozone, and viola! any year 4.6L DOHC cobra engine mounts will work perfectly. They are pricey at autozone, so has anybody upgraded to poly and want to donate their old ones? Now is your chance to donate to the race car!

To answer any questions, the cobra motor mounts are angled , not flat like to lincolns. They look like they will fit right into the k-member on the race car, so here's hoping.

Pending a trial run, I would say no welding as of now.

Great news. Now we need to get some headers, modify the braking system and start the wiring process.

CWO, are you still willing to sandblast those 2 turbines we have? I put two nice ones I had at home on the back with the slicks, but the old ones only need sandblasting and a coat of paint. I'll help if we can use your equipment. I still think we should just go turbines all around.

We need to get the wheels to the hobby shop and take the slicks off. Then I can throw them in my blaster at work.

(answering for El Presidente) Thats going on the backburner till the engine runs, brakes work, and the car is flying down the race track. We have a few other things to spend money on before then, like brakes, gears, tranny, etc. Good chance we will even get those donated after she is whooping up on the track.
