Muscle Car shootout at Barona pics

Another sunny day at Barona today. It started out like it was going to be real hot but ended up to be a very nice day. Almost got to see a new GTO crash into the side wall, but he pulled it out just in time. Here's few pics on the day.

I don't know what it was, but the whole day just seemed off. Don't get me wrong I had fun, but my mind just wasn't in it today. Really didn't even feel like going. It was a great turnout and I did hit a new personal best 60ft time and a new personal best @ Barona.

I think I was just wore out from working on the car for 2 days straight and then the weather pissed me off. It was hot for mid october and the wind was blowing like 5-6mph straight at our cars going down the track.

Congrats to Eric who also got a new PR! Good Job everyone! I hope to have the transbrake in next time out. I recieved a Work comp check for $2081 in the mail a couple days ago. :)

Thanks again to PapaTom for always being there.

that camaro was a damn good driver is all i gotta say. we both got hit with pro lights for some reason and we both had " what the hell? " reaction times. my what the hell was slightly longer than his and he won. ( by .102 )

I did great for the day as hot was it was.

2.194 60ft
9.211 1/8th
79.541 MPH
Bald ass street tires that i melted to the asphalt lol

8's are only shy of my will. gears on street tires or grab a set of slicks and safety loop ( eventually both some day )

Sorry guys It's going to have to wait until tomorrow. My wife just got off the computer (homework) and I don't have the energy to get everything hooked up and loaded right now. I will post them up tomorrow when I get home from school.

Get some 4.10's and you're in there! The Camaro is Auto that is shifted by his computer. All he does is hit the gas. You did good. It was nice to see so many of us racing!

Yeah, if your car is anything like mine, you should pick up at-least .5 seconds with some gears and slicks, especially if you go with 4.10's.
