I just read through the rules three times on this post....

Every thing is pretty clear until you get down to here:
COOLDOWN PERIOD/RETURN PROCEDURES
Where it says..."During this cool down period only, entrants may adjust tire pressure (add or remove tire pressure)"
This conflicts with Section:
BACK-TO-BACK PASSES
"Air may not be added to tires any time during the back-to-back passes."
further down in the same paragraph it says
"no changes may be made to vehicle other than lowering air pressure in tires"
------------------------------------------
Then we have this section
RACE FORMAT
"Vehicles with air-to-water intercoolers may not add ice to intercooler tank between back-to-back passes"
Which conflicts with
COOLDOWN PERIOD/RETURN PROCEDURES
"entrants may adjust tire pressure (add or remove tire pressure), install fresh nitrous bottles, install ice in their intercooler (only if located in trunk, rear hatch or rear seat area)"
---------------------------------------------------------
The way it reads to me is, there is no qualifying to be done. You just show up and pick your class, make three passes and the three passes are averaged out. If you Average is 9.01 in the 9.00 class and no one has a faster average, you win a trophy for that class.
I would assume all the passes are "back to back" and there is no qualifying, you pick a class.
I just want to make sure I am reading it right.
On a side issue.......
I am going to run 3 vehicles. One in each, 9.0, 8.0, and 7.0. Rules don't seem to say anything about multiple vehicles or driver changes. I hope this is ok.
