pics are marked private. can't see them. If you have a photobucket account, scroll the mouse over the picture. It gives you an IMG code. Copy and paste onto the thread and pics come up here

That Bronco has lots of potential. Doesn't seem like its gonna take much to restore it. When I got my 79 F250, I was debating between that and a 79 Bronco, but the Bronco had too many rust issues. Still love those Broncos though.

Me and my brother are planning on taking out the 400M and dropping a 460 S/C in it. then getting the rust off and repainting it, keeping the same paint job it has.

Check out my 460 swap. I'm almost done. Your transmisison should bolt right onto it. You'll need to get 460 engine mounts, entire front accessories brackets, pulleys etc. The hardest thing I came across was the power streeing bracket and alternator bracket. They are very hard to find. 4x2 brackets are everywhere, but they don't work on 4x4 trucks. Alternator bracket from 4x2 put the alternator hitting on lower cross member, and power streeting bracket from 4x2 puts the power steering pump hitting against the steering box. Only 4x4 460 brackets will work, or an entire conversion kit running well over $500 since you'll have to use their pulleys too.

I should be done in about 2 weeks. I have to take a week off...going to TX
