Well the day started off good. Planned a group of us to go to the track. We get there right after it opened and plenty of room to race. Its not as crowded as usual. I make a few passes and and then let a some people ride with me. Well the second pass with Melissa they back me off because i was leaking antifreeze. So i go let the car cool down. In the mean time went did some burnouts and Heather got to learn how to drive my car. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER driving a 5 speed. So i go to make another pass and my belt brakes off the line. About go into the wall because I have no power steering and at was hard to turn off not having power brakes doing 90 mph+. So i get back to my parking spot and the car is just starting to overheat. I look and my belt is all tangled up in everything. Luckily i keep a spare belt in the trunk. So we decide to head home not thinking anything else could happen. We get almost home from an hour drive from the track and notice i have NO brakes AT ALL. I have to run a red light and almost hit a car head on. I finally stop and notice my front caliper was just hanging and I have not brake fluid at all. So i got a friend to run me to the house to get my other car and he runs out of gas in my drive way. LMAO. So we get that taken care of and then im off to fix my car. Luckily I had a spare caliper laying around because i shot a piston out of my old one. It only took a little over an hour to bleed the whole system once i finally get it in the garage. Sorry its so long. I had to VENT! And its a real pain changing calipers on the side of a six lane hwy with the wind blowing like crazy.
