My Dad

all please pray for my dad as he is in ICU due to a massive heart attack. This was a shock because my dad has always been healthy and the hardest worker I have ever known. He is currently sedated to allow for his body to cool down and to prevent brain injury, they did a heart catherization which cleared a 100% blockage in some lower left arteries, if we hadn't got him in the hospital when we did my dad wouldn't have made it.

Sorry to hear that about your Dad. I hope he's doing well. Stay strong for him and please let us know how things are going.
 
thank-youi guys for the support!!!! Good news!! My dad is off life support , they cleared the blockage , he is talking and everything. The docs say that most people dont recover from a massive heart attack like this one. My dad was talking to me today and asking for steaK AND EGGS..LOL and told me as soon as they take the thing off his leg he wants to get out of the hospital and into a deer stand. It truly is a miracle that he is alive and prayer really does work, ive been told stories before of miracles but to witness one is truly amazing. I do appreciate the support and i'd do the same for anyone of you all

Andy, you are a great son and wonderful member of the WickedStang's family. I'm glad to hear that your dad is doing well and God Bless you and your family.
 
well my dad is out of ICU and recovering in the heart center at parkview, which is in indiana. We really appreciate all the prayers and everything. The doc said 99% of the people that have such a massive heart attack dont make it, so this really is a miracle for him to be alive. I am going to make an appointment when I get back to have my heart, cholesterol checked out and I encourage the rest of you to get checked as well.
