My ideas on Stangpede

10-4 Dan. I appreciate your opinion, but I'm still not satisfied. I understand you don't care if I still have concerns and I can accept that.

On this website in the last 3-4 hours, we have been told we don't want members here who act like Stangpede.

I really need the person who said that to explain what he meant by that. Just HOW do Stangpede people act? What is it they do that you don't want US to do or act like?

Why do members here consider them "Thugs"?

Emilio said "They are on their own and will have to rebuild their reputation".

What's wrong with their reputation that needs to be rebuilt?

Emilio also said "The truth should be told, and if the truth is negative, Ernie should hear it, so he can try to change it."

What do you do if ERNIE is the problem? What do you do if it was Ernie who mislead you? What do you do when their PRESIDENT appears to be less than honest in business dealings? What do you do then? Hmmmmmmmmm???

Now comes the BS. Ernie actually had the balls to say he'd give me a driveshaft of my choice. Why? But he also had the gall to say it was my fault because I didn't ASK if the driveshaft needed to be modified to work as he had advertised. When you run an ad and tell people you have aluminum driveshafts that will fit any 05+GT Mustang, then people think it bolts in. You don't sell them an item and NOT tell them it need serious modifications to work. Hell, I could sell F350 radiators and tell people it will fit in your Fox body. True, you have to butcher the car to get it in but hey, you didn't ask! So, I'm off the hook.

So you offer me a driveshaft as a goodwill gesture. No dude, you offer me one because I caught you at your dishonest practice. Just like the hood that gives me 12 more HP. Notice how he never denied anything I said? Caught red-handed, exposed and all he can do is offer a "pay off" to try to make good. Does that mean he changed his sorry business practices? Not at all.

You people need to REALLY think about what you're doing.

And the fact that you all think you have to explain over and over that we are'nt dating Stangpede or getting all chummy with them but just being cordial to them if we end up in the same show means you really didn't think this out too well! The fact that you are running around trying to put out fires means you didn't consider the consequences BEFORE this crap hit the fan.

And funny, I don't hear ANYONE saying that what I put in the first post is inaccurate. The BEST thing Emilio could have done when Ernie approached him was to politely listen and then tell him he'd get back to him.

Then ask the members what they think before committing anything.

Doesn't that make sense?

Not trying to stir the pot but.....you cant you do mobile tuning on a car? just got to have a CPU hooked up and all that crap right? Tune it while driving it.....I guess they could get an increase in the HP that way from a hood.....

LOL I am not kissing ass at all. I have spoken with Ernie myself and we worked out our differences between us. I have never had a problem with Ernie, in fact I asked him once about doing some stuff for me. I never got to it though as an incident got in my way....Knotts 08.....I dont like what they do to their cars. That is a known fact. He knows that. But the fact is that I still support anyone in the way they would like to mod their car. I could say the same of Hoosier stang too.....he wants a Terlingua package and I am anti 6er upgrade packages.....especially for 20K......LOL but if he does it I am not going to outcast him because his vision doesnt match mine.

With the above, I am just stating that it technically is possible to increase the HP with a hood......very doubtful that is how they came up with that number though.......I was merely saying it could be possible.

And GT, I do have several known aquaintances that are with SP/hang out with..... wyldwmn, phunnyguy,<<<<(Cruised with those 2 several weeks ago) and 2 more that I dont know their screen names but know they are members there.

You want my opinion once again, well here it is. I did not tell Jack to leave, that was his option.

I told the club members, "if you cannot act civil towards other humans, then you should not be part of the this club". Quote still stands!!!!

Jack decided that he could not be cordial/civil towards Stangpede and left WickedStangs. I said, "See Ya". I'm not going to be anyone to stay and I'm not willing to associate with people that cannot find civility in their lives towards human beings.

Everyone else in the club has moved on in this topic. Tim, you are the only one disputing what is going on or how it was handled. All the other board members support what happened and are behind Emilio. Could all of this been done a little differently, YES!!!

At the next board meeting, we can discuss a better way of handling this kind of situation and a better way to present changes to the club. But the "Be cordial to Stangpede philosophy is a CLUB philosophy and will be inforced".

Just to clear this up. Emilio did tell me he was going to go talk to Ernie and his invitation. I told him fine listen to what he has to say.

As you calling us "Yes Men" Well, if I didn't see anything wrong with him going over talking to the President of another club, why would I tell him no. Why would he need an "escort" to go talk to Ernie. He's a big boy, he can take care of himself. If he needs help or we can see him needing our help, I guarantee you, I'll be there in a hurry, but there was no need for that.

Emilio talks to Ernie almost everytime I see them at the same event.
