N20 WetKit On Mach Questions.

I Picked up an NOS Wet kit yesterday, well, its mostly a kit. I GOt a good deal on it so i grabbed it. IM looking for an install guide, or a how to guide so i dont mess this up. Im mostly looking for a "what Goes where" and the parts needed, so that ican compare what i need to what i got.

Ive dont a dry kit before on a 99 eclipse, but this is completely different.

THanks in advance!

Summitracing usually has PDF instruction files. Look up the kit on summit racing and check for an instructions download. It should also list all parts in the kit.

thanks paul!

That universal kit has more similarities than the 05 kit, so i think i ll go off those instructions.

It looks like i need that relay, and some other misc parts.

Also, ill post pics up later when the battery charges.

Yes, you definitely want to run the power through a relay - Having the contacts on the WOT switch arc-weld themselves together will ruin your day. I can't tell, but it looks like the kit's set up to splice into the fuel line, which I would avoid if at all possible, since it's a pain in the ass. Your car is returnless, right? If so, Zex PN 82236 or a schrader valve adapter for the test port on the rail will make your life much, much easier...

what shot you going to run... anything more then a 100 shot i wouldn't run off the schrader valve, you "Could" starve the injectors....

I was just looking at a 4V in a Cobra Jet today, and it has the same kind of fuel pressure sensor as my car, and by extension, the 2V cars. When I DL my photos tomorrow, I'll post up an underhood shot so we can make sure we're all on the same page.

I know what a shrader valve is... its the Fuel line test port.... but if your running anything higher then a 100 shot... you can starve the injectors of fuel by pulling the fuel for the N2o that close to the injectors.... that's the hole point of tapping in to your fuel line... so there is enough fuel line left to make up the pressure needed for the injectors..

whe you are pulling fuel straight from the rail its going to take away fromt he injector... its just how much is it taking...

What if you have bigger than stock injectors?

that will make the problem worse! but you would probably have a better pump at the same time!

using the schrader valve to get fuel for the nitrous kit ahs been done many many many times, and had no problems.... but there is a chance of pulling to much fuel... its not good practice and a 5 dollar home depot 3/8 t fitting will tap in to your hard line and your done... alot safer and much better fuel supply to everything...

One thing you never want to half ass is a nitrous kit!

the kit that will go on my Fox is going to have...

a seprate 2 gallon fuel cell
a seprate pump (holley electric pump)
its own fuel pressure regulator.
and all steel braided line..

it turns a 300 dollar nitrous kit in to a 600 dollar nitrous kit but when i spray it will be adding 100+ octane fuel... no more worring about lean nitrous sprays!

much safer.. no need to tap in to any lines... and your nitrous kit has its own fuel supply and the engine fuel system is left alone....

nitorus is cheap HORSEPOWER we all no that... way not spend the extra money to have a BAD ass nitrous kit that will last along time! your still under a grand and now were near the cost of a turbo or a supercharger... and its just as safe!

nitrous is not FORGIVING by any means! There is no oops, in nitrous LOL!
