Hey Y'all,

Lets have a quick muster... How many Mustang people do we have at 32nd street? I see alot of bitchin cars running around base, maybe we can put together a NAVSTA meet/ greet/ cruise?

That would be cool..
We could try that on all the different bases in San Diego. I see lots of Mustang on all the bases, that could sure use a good mustang club to hang with:)

I'm thinking of something on a grand scale. Possibly a show in conjunction with Fleet week this coming year?
But 1st; I want to contact as many interested folks as possible. I know we have alot of junior personel (living in barracks and ships) who have mustangs and could use a positive influence (like regular car club meets).
What do y'all think?

Wondering where I am!?!?
I am Retired so I have access to the base.

We would be interested in bringing the His and Hers to a show/meet on 32nd Street

I just got the word the the pier for all our Minesweepers at Pt. Leoma wont be ready and we will be at 32street. Really hope this is only for a short while. Might see an Orange Cobra around in March/April of next year-Shane

OK Y'all,

I want to hit MWR and the PAO up with the idea (after holliday standdown). As stated earlier I am thinking of a major Mustang event to coincide with Fleet week 2009. lets get the word out to as many of our sailors as we can! My main purpose is to contact all those young sailors who have an interest, give them something constructive and fun to do. To that end I want to get these guys involved with our group. I plan to post on my command net and put up flyers at the Gym also, I work for ATG so I go to alot of ships. Lets do this it will be great.

Unfortunately, given the average age aboard ship, ricers usaully outnumber muscle car guys.... However, I have served aboard 5 gray ladies and have never seen one without a good number of American muscle fanatics. Be vocal about your interest and they will show themselves. Get the ricer guys out to the Q this summer and shut em down.
