Need Mustang for under $2000(4 friend)

Friend of mine on the ship is looking at a 4 cylinder with 77,000 for 1800 today. But he asked if I could find better so here I am. He doesnt care if it is auto or manual but 2 grand is his limit and doesnt care how many cylinders. Thanks for any imput.-Shane

Here's the link to a car that I was gonna personally buy for my ex's daughter. it's actually about 3 blocks from Gibs house near Qualcomm stadium and I swung by to show it to him and get his feedback. Overall it was a very clean fox body with all original paint, original vin tags on all body panels and very smooth idling engine. Started right up when cold and ran really good except for the rear shocks needing to be replaced. It has bad air shocks in the rear. Very cheap fix. His ad states that he needs a downpayment for a car, but what he told me was that he simply was unemployed and needed the money. It comes with a bad a$$ sound system that sets off car alarms!

A Maxima came across and bought that instead, but this fox is very clean for that price. Comes with those Cobra R replica wheels and all tires are in great shape. Interior is very clean as well, except for the notorious ash tray lid that always needs fixing on these foxes. It's already been smogged and all DMV fees are current. I can vouch for this car, It's a very good deal for affordable transportation that looks clean.

He dropped it from the $1700 I was gonna pay.

This is the car my friend was talking about initially. I came back to the ship to tell him about another and he said he already opted to get this one. He is happy with it and sounds like it will treat him rite. Should be picking it up tonight. Wanna thank everyone for their help, really appreciate it. -Shane

I should have convinced my ex to buy this car for her daughter last week. She ended up buying a Maxima, and has dumped almost $700 in repairs in parts alone! I've done the work for free. Now, tomorrow I have to drop the transmission to replace a bad freeze plug BEHIND THE FLEXPLATE. So I have to drop the transmission now!

Well my friend lucked out! He said he found another Fox and that it had a great red paintjob and was $1800. He told the guy IT WAS SOLD and he would bring him cash at lunch today. Asked him if he had pics and he showed me some shots he took on his cell. It's a NOTCH! I was like man that car is a hot looking Notch! He wasnt sure of the difference..lol. So I was like yeah...oneday that should be your project car and drop a V8 in her. Thanks again for your help guys.-Shane

just wanted to post here that i did get that red noch mustang so far its been a good buy exept for the tranny problem im trying to fix now but soon hopefully really soon i plan to do a V8 Swap myself. im looking for a donar car right now its going to take me awhile cuse im new to the area so i have to do alot of driving around and calling diff ppl. if anyone nows of someone or someplace selling a good donar car i could use i would love to get the info thanks

guess wat guys i think this car is back on the market the guy called me last night i missed his call but im sure it was to offer me the car again so if anyone is intrested ill find out if he is selling the car and ill post as soon as i find out the info. glade i didnt get that one cuse its a straight six and a hatchback

Its a 4 cylinder not a straight six. I had checked it out and drove it
