i have a 99 cobra that will be getting re built while i'm on deployment.
i want to run a 3.4l whipple and was told that i needed all the parts to convert to the 03-04 cobra. i'm planning on keeping the block, crank, and heads for the re build. but i need the front timming cover, lower intake manifold, and all the intercooler parts for an 03-04 cobra. so i need some help finding and aquireing these parts. if you have them i would like a quote on the parts.

i'm currently deployed and can't check this site very often.
the best way to contact me is at scott.newton@cvw9.navy.mil

Stronger crank, Stronger Rods, Forged pistons, a TKO 500/600, a rearend (9 inch or dana 60) drive shaft, rear suspension, chassis stiffing so roll cage, tubular K member, BRAKES! and i know im missing something

OH yea a FULL Tub on the rear to fit your 3 foot wide tires!

hahaha.... i still plan on it being a street car. the factory crank is forged steel and is good for 1,000 hp. but i will be going with stronger rods, pistions, bigger valves, valve springs, custom cams, and a lot of head port work.

will the IRON block of the 03 04 cobra is stronger and so is the internals of what you have now.. you could run that 3.4L on that motor THAT COBRA MOTOR no problem... the tekin block you have needs alot of work to handle that blower as in expensive rods and pistons!

the block if fine. lots of guys with 03-04 cobras swich to the 96-99 teskid blocks the only week parts are the rods and pistons. the WAP blocks that were used in mid-late 01 cobras are weak.

then why the hell are you going with a 3.4L blower... you can make 650 700 on a 2.2L....

and if your not making 1000hp buy a 03 04 cobra motor and rebuild your tek. block sense it has 100,000+ miles on it
