Need to get my car smogged...suggestions

My 98 Cobra was to be registered by 12/20, but I didn't know if it could pass smog, so I haven't taken it to be done.

It has the smog on it and cats etc. The KB supercharger has CARB cert and passed last time.

My concern is the Snow Methenol kit. Also need to talk with Dante to see if he took my EGR out of the tune.

Anyone know of someone in my Area or maybe as far down as Clairemont that won't overly question some of the mods. I mean I don't want someone to cheat, just perhaps not question every part. I pretty sure it will pass the roller test.

AND if you fail once, does that red flag your car??

If you fail once, then instead of going in every 2 or 3 years, you have to go every year for the next 3-5 years.

Ugh! Thats what I was worried about. Don't want to do this every 2 years.

um this is California you have to smog bi annually anyways, and i have never heard about smogging every year if you fail once, if it goes in as a gross polluter you may have to go to a referee, i have seen that before.

I would take it to Miramar and tell them it is only for Base sticker reasoning and does not need to go to DMV and see what they say.

I think it will pass the roller test and sniffer test. I have all the smog on it. The problem is the EGR turning on the check engine light. I think Dante turned it off in the tune. I am going to have to talk with him.

Check engine light on is an automatic fail. And Ethan, you have to smog every 2 years. Never 3-5 years. There are exceptions for newer cars but I dont know what they are and they wouldnt apply to SDPILOT

I know a garage that won't ask anything they just make it pass. BUT you'll need a name. If your interested you can talk to my Invisible Boyfriend about the garage and the workers. He has known them forever. My Infinity never passes without them and our experience says No to any red flag. You go, they do, you pay, you leave, you got your smog clearance. If you want to know what garage PM me and you can take it from there.
