Needed to Borrow: Car Trailer/Dolly

Guys,
Gonna donate(aka buy) a 95 lincoln that was wrecked. It has a perfect 4.6L DOHC motor (280 hp), AOD, harness, computer, ie everything to put a 4.6 in the race fox. I just need a car trailer/2 wheel dolly to pick it up with. Just need to borrow it for a few hours. Call me at 843-503-5724 if you want to help out the cause!!!
If not, I may take a drill, remove the bumper, and attach my tow bar to the front with some drilling and big bolts. Thats not my preference though!!
Thanks. Aaron

Well, everyone is hoping we can store it at your house VP, and take it apart there. Would be a close drive, and would just be there till the drivetrain was out.

Persdonally I think that this is a bad idea. It is a free headache. It's an awesome gesture to have this given to the club, but is this the best thing to do for simplicity sake I think not. I have a friend at work who has done the 03 cobra motor swap into a fox. He says that you will need all of the wiring for the dash and the dash itself. How the hell are you going to put a lincoln dash into a fox?! Don't think that would look real good or fit real good without hacking it up.

You could use the K-member that is in the car, but that would also have to be hacked as the bolt holes would have to be elongated.

Drive shaft would probably have to be modified and balanced.

The wiring will be a huge nightmare. We would need a real electrician with enormous amounts of disposable time on his hands. My buddy took 6 months to wire up the whole car!

I think that the 5.0 is the way to go. The parts are in abundance, they are cheap and they work! Just some things to think about. I got my buddies phone number, but I forgot it at work. When I initially told him what the club wanted to do he didn't even want to give out his number because he said that he doesn't have that kind of time.

Regardless of what some of you think this is not an easy swap unless you know what you are doing electrically. Just my .10 cents

If you think that the navy ET's are gonna wire it up I'll see you next year.

J/K I knew that this is the way you guys would think. I'm just giving you my opinion and providing you with feedback from someone who HAS ACTUALLY DONE IT. The reward of doing it with a cobra engine is alot different than doing it for a slow 281. All of that work to save $500?

I put an EFI system in my 67.......what a freaking nightmare.......Wow was that ridiculus. Too much work with the wiring. I made it work but it was not worth the trouble.

Wiring in a package that is not supposed to be there is a pain.
