Still not as fast as you.
I have DR's. I just need to do some driver mod, and get rid of my stock brakes. I can only rev up to 1200 rpm, anything above the car wants to go. I'm being told I should get a stall kit.
My previous best was 9.7. But I average 10.0-10.3. Those are my consistent times.

If you put in a good converter with a 3000-3500 stall you would hit 8's.
If you put in a good converter with a 3000-3500 stall you would hit 8's.
