oh ya, I forgot to send you guys the sneak peak of this I got a couple of weeks ago... Looks nice...
Hey Emilio,
Feel free to share this with your forum readers, it's some spy photo's I got of the new C&L intake manifold for the 3V mustangs. I should be dyno testing it next week…Shhhhhhhhhh! Gotta love the Iphone.
Its been in a few of the mags as well. Bama chips already has the tune. They where one of the companies that got a prototype to test and tune. They where telling me that DEC 1st they will be out so people can purchase them as well and 150-175 shot of NOS works well with them as well as direct port for NOS. With new heads and the intake I should pick up quite a bit.
Yeah it does! But what the heck, people design entire flight systems and complete cars in less time! They say they've been developing this intake since 2005. Well, in a month it will be 2009. Do you really want a part on your car from people who can't get the job done in almost 4 years?
Ford racing developed my aluminum intake in less than a year!
Guys its not plastic it is aluminum so it says in tech article its coated black to look like orriginal. Its better that they took the time to do all the dyno tuning and testing on the intake than to just throw it on market wen it doesnt work like most of the after market T.Bodies for the stick cars that can't support the RPM's. C&L is a good company as far as I am concerned there CAI gave me over 25 RWHP I am going to get the new upper I will let you all know how the improvements help my car.. If it doesnt then I will wait for more mods and put it back on the car. Head work/S.C/ more NOS ect
I still say Roush and FRPP came up their "tuned and tested" aluminum intakes in less than HALF the time and I do think Jack Roush knows what he's doing along with the engineers at FRPP and subsidiaries.
But, if they put that much effort into it and can deliver after four years. great!
Must have a few Democrats working there slowing up the process.
I didnt know they had intakes out. I thought htis was the first after market one on out. Can you post links to the others.. I want to see how they flow ect..
That is a lower intake your super charger is your upper. Take another look at the link. There is a upper and a lower. The lower is the flat looking piece similar to your lower the upper is that actual tunnel ram that has the arches. The one I posted is for a N/A car not for a super charger there is a diffrence. This is the first after market N/A intake out there as far as I know. That is what I was talking about...
Your right ... most of us are just young dumb and full of cum right?
HOGAN RACING is high dollar intakes. You should just add a Super charger to your engine for the price of one of there intakes. Funny I didnt see anything that looked like a 3 vlv intake. Maybe if I had a 70 with a 10,000 $ big block and I wanted to put 2 four's on it I would look more into a high dollar intake like hogans. Nope probaly would just order from Summit
There's no studs. This mounting face for the TB has tapped holes. You can BARELY see them. Last I heard, it sold for $2500. I don't know the specs. I suppose you could ask them. I found this when I was researching for an intake/sc combination. I was looking at s/c's and didn't want to use a plastic intake for obvious reasons.
There is NO "lower". Once the plastic original is removed, this bolts in place, I "think" to the charge motion plates or deletes..
