An 03 cobra motor in a Fox is a lot of work too and you almost unloaded in your pants when you saw my buddies car! We still have not seen a pic of yours with all of this great advise you've been giving on why not to do a swap.

If a person has the means to do it. There is nothing wrong with putting in the work and making something original. If you don't know how to turn a wrench and will have to pay someone to do it for you...steer clear!

im not trying to convince you what to put in your car but all that is really required are k member from a 95 or 94 gt, computer(94/95 gt), and obviously the engine but im sure there are other small stuff that may needed to be swapped or modified, i think you could make more power doing that but coulld be tough in some aspects....

ok....im late on this thread, and you say your going with the 01 motor...which has the PI intake and heads....honestly your best bet is to stay modular, SOHC or DOHC and stroke with boost. that will make power. just my opinion.

WTF....sell out....last time i checked i still have an 5.0.....and plan on keeping it. i like my cheap parts and generous amounts of torque

i was just saying.....if i had a 96 gt, which is low on hp, that is what i would do. its easier than switching to a pushrod and can make tons of power.

pushrod is a hundred times eisier to work on but modulars seem like their easier to get power from!!!! i only had a 302 for a short time, but it seems that in order to do much of anything with them you need to swap out the lower end!! and just for you orange,,,, i got pics i just have to figure out how to get the good ones on the site!! their comin!!! slowly but surely!!!

SOHC or DOHC and stroke with boost. that will make power.

with a good blower there is no need to stroke. your stroking to gain displacement, a blower simulates added displacement. forge the bottom end, make the heads breath and buy a smaller pulley. stroking it is just making it more likely to break. with a forged modular horsepower is as easy as more boost and more fuel. personally i dont think they are hard to work on at all.
