I didnt get vista because i didnt want to deal with the new problems i have been hearing about.... I run XP and love it.. im only running dual core and a amd 5000 over clocked to 3000mhz... 700 watt power supply and asus mother board... this computer runns fast.. I'm going to run dual GT's next month and probably go to quad core!


you guys with dual cards what GAME you guys play? I'm always taring shit up in Counter Strike Source and Call of Duty 4 modern warfare!

Beejay have you done a System restore at all... that always helps my old computer the kids use.... oh and PORN is a bad thing for a PC.............LOL! j/k

also go to and a nd remove programs and take alll the crap you dont use off!

i just did restore a month or 2 ago, computor was running great. then i updated all th programs and got virus scan and shit. everything was fine. then the other day playing command and conquer it started to freeze. i dont know what was going on. now internet explorer takes forever to start up. my comp is only 2 years old, and its a gateway. i got the amd athalon dual and a bunch of other stuff that i told was good but i dont know what it means. i dont think i got a virus. do you think i might need a graphics card? i was told gateways dont come with one.

I am playing the hell out of Call of Duty 4, but I also play a ton of Half Life 2 and Episodes 1 & 2, Unreal Tournament III, Crysis, Halo 2, Bioshock, Medal of Honor - Airbourne and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfigter 2. I wanna get Frontlines and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 that are coming out very soon.

I just love to shoot shit... LOL.

yea mine to!..... If you have already been playing the game you shouldn't need a video car... the problem your having with internet explore i have already heard of..... What i would do first is download FIREFOX!! firefox.com is an awsome web browser. do a DISK scan and a defrag... see if that helps.. also see if the game has an option to defrag its files... ALSO.... CLEAN the inside of your computer.....I cant stress how important that is.

Just like a car: a clean car/engine is a happy car/engine.....clean computer runs a lot better! could be why it started to freeze!
