Windveil, My tint is 15%. It is actually lower than that though because of the factory tinting the glass....There is not much on there but they are tinted from the factory. So mine is like 12-13% around the back and 13-14% on the doors.

I still have the WA state plates so I hoe the CA cops do not pull me over for it. I would hate to ruin the look by going with a light tint on the front and dark on the back.

I am still well beyond the WA standards also.

Mine is tinted 35% I wouldnt go any darker than that jim. I would actually use mirror tint on yours it would look bad ass. Oh and for the record mine has grey W.S sticker

if anyone needs tint, i know a guy that does a great job...and he will come out to wherever you are and do it while you work. hes done my pontiac with 5% all the way around, and he did my fox with 22% they both look great

Yeah, Phill... I'm going the max I can go. I talked to the State Troopers out here, and they tell me that there is actually a 5% +/- leeway here. I asked about mirror tint because I remembered you saying that last time you were here, and as of January 2, 2008, it will be illegal on the street, period.

thats sucks...its illegal here too, but the cops never pull you over for it. i got 5% all the way around and i have never been hastled. 35 isnt that light tho..i think it will look good

Well that's what I thought about doing too, but I have to drive through two cowboy municipalities to get anywhere I wanna go. There are known ass hole cops in both areas, and I would wind up in the grey bar motel if they stopped me and made me peel it off.
