Nice Bro.

Wait tell you have someone tell you that you have a bad alternator. I have been told a few times " You have a bad alternator " I would ask " how is that " they would responed " Cant you hear that bearing going out " LOL

Also how much boost and did you tune it yet.

Also just a heads up. If you want more boost dont do a pulley swap go with a Anderson Powerpipe first. I picked up almost 3 lbs with just the pipe. Also it will keep the warranty on the blower if you purchased it new.

8#'s of boost and no it's not the bearing in the alternator it is one of the pullies that is rubbing, maverick said it will just wear down with in the next week or so, i dont know which one though but he said it will be fine. I haven't had it tuned yet it runs fine but it is really rich it will start choking up if i floor it. yeah i'll look in to a boost pipe seeing how that is very true as far as the warranty goes. Im probably going on friday to RET to have greg tune it.

That is not what I meant. The noise you have is normal for Vortech S/C. I have the SQ-Strim and mind sounds alot like yours. What I meant is when you go anywhere just wait for someone to tell you, you have a bad alternator not knowing it is a Supercharger.

They do make a distinct noise, especially if coming off a heavy load. The SQ is supposed to mean Super Quiet....yeah right...lol

That is what I thought also. It got even louder when I put on the Anderson Power Pipe and it got more air. You can only realy hear mine at idle at that is it.
