NHRA Street legal drags Fontana DEC 5, 2009

I really want to go. I want to bring the Shelby down, but don't want to drive 100miles on drag radials both way. Scary enough going to barona. No room in my trunk and then I will have bring jack and tools etc. Not going to run without drag radials.

Anyone else bringing a jack for sure?? 02GT??

Cant bring my 98, I don't have a fire jacket. Can't waste a full 1/4 mile opportunity on the truck, but I might have too.

I would cruise up with you guys, but not a snow balls chance I will leave at 4:30am. Maybe 6:30

Talk to Tommy. He is bringing his trailer and picking up Oranges car I believe. Maybe you can load your stuff into the trailer.

Not sure yet. Wont be racing yet..... Just aint gonna have time.... Still got too much to do and no car to do it with.

Lets not forget I have an F-350 fully capable of towing now as well. No sense in Tommy always having to haul....I just dont have a trailer!

I am in Oceanside and I don't think any of you would take the I-5 to go up there. Most likely I-15.

I think I might be able to squeeze in the tires somehow. I got that big factory ford Woofer in the trunk, but if I can get one in there and 1 in the back, I can always find other places for the misc crap.

Oceanside to Fallbrook is not that far. Maybe you and Tom can communicate about meeting halfway or you bringing the tires to him to put in the trailer.

Its still up in the air if I'm going or not. If I do I'll just be spectating and driving the notch. The trailer will be in Sacramento

does that inlude a 21mm and a 19mm soket perhaps? i would like to change my tires at the track and i need thoes two sizes for the lug nutts. and the need to be the longer one to clear the rims.

Yes i have all that stuff, from what understand from other people it gets packed early so get up there early in order to get in and tech

So who is actually going to race and not spectate? I only see about 3 or 4 guys that have RSVP'd that are going to race. I really want to go but would want to see more members than that. Oh and is our race car going?

wow...ok so there is a lot of speculation going on here. Orange, race car, trailer, no trailer.

Seems to me....the only one confirmed is 02 GT.

I will confirm that I WILL BE THERE RACING. Baring that I can't get through tech or rain or something beyond my control. Not sure which vehicle.

Seems like when thread go like this one, very few actually make it.
