Nitto Drag Radials and Tire Pressure

I'm thinking about going to barona for the first time this weekend and am wondering what I should run for tire pressures. I have nitto 555R Drag radials on the car. I know I need to lower the pressure a bit but how much?

OK now my next question. Is there an air source at the track so I can air those guys back up for the drive home?

There is one right next to the bathroom. But not sure how well they work. Someone usually have a compressor there. I think 02gt bring one.

Hook better at 12. If this is your first time racing. Go with 14 and try not to spin too much then drop to 12 if you want better times.

Ya its my first time and my car is setup more for a road coarse than a drag strip so it should spin alot. I should've kept my stock rear springs at least. :banghead: Oh well I know what its built to do so if its not as fast as it could be i'm not worried.

you have a line lock? that mod will be your best friend for the nitto's, they are hard to heat up, they need a hellaicios burn out to get decent hooking, btw emilio barrowed my nittos for Mustang vs the world and they were mostl bald and on the 245/45/r17's and ran them with only 8 psi and was able to cut a 1.7 on them....

No I don't have a line lock. And ya I've tried to heat em up good and since I don't have a line lock it usually results in a long (distance wise) burnout which I don't think would be appropriate at the track. I've never even been to a drag race honestly.
