North Korea fired their Rocket

The rockect was fired approximately an hour ago, local time, 2230 EST for you in the States, and it passed over Japan before it crashed into the Pacific Ocean.

Needless to say, Japan is PI$$ED!!


UPDATE: They are now saying one booster landed into the Sea of Japan and "something" landed into the Pacific Ocean. They have no idea where the "payload" is.

For weeks, NK has been saying they were launching a satellite into orbit. Does this mean they lost a multi-million dollar satellite or that they are liars? Hmmm??

Japan has asked for an Emergency Meeting of the UN Security Council, word over here is that China will block any sanctions.

Like the UN has a f'ning leg to stand on!!

well, i say we shouldnt piss china off. the way we are spread out all over the world, it wouldnt e a smart choice to pick another fight that we cant back up. we dont have the manpower or money to even considder that option

I agree with you BeeJay but as we all know some fights we don't have the power to choose, they seem to find us regardless of money or manpower (Most of the time that is what causes the fight to begin with- weakness seen by the aggressor). As I do remember reading on what Obama said about this subject, If the launch had been seen as a threat we would have shot it down. Now, sending a missle directly overhead of Japan and not knowing for sure what the payload was.... Hmm I woulda blown that Biotch outta the sky, F-the chinese and the N-Koreans. If that launch didn't pose a threat I don't know what did, It looks more like they were testing our "Annointed one's" resolve and loyalty to our allies. I wonder how he'll stand up if china ever acts on it's threat to taiwan. You guys do know that the Chinese have developed a non-nuclear weapon that IS carried on those types of ballistic missles that can sink our CVN's right?
