Hey guys and gals I want your opinion. I plan on doing head work to my 06 along with cams. I was wondering what you thought of adding some NOS to it as well.
Can I get some votes? Yes or No and why

Go 125 and love every minute of it... If you dont use it all the time your not going to hurt anything... but if you hold the damn button for 5 minutes of course somthing is going to let loose, spray for about 10 second burst and you will be fine. The key is TUNE.... Like i have always been told FEAR THE PING NOT THE SPRAY!!!

My plan is to spray... Did you know all 87-91 fox bodys come stock with forged pistons!
that can handle a 200 shot stock!.. I cant wait to get me 1988 Stang! I plan on going striat to are sponsers Atomic performance and buy their 500 dollar nitrous kit do full exhuast and 4:10 gears with some nice tire and watch out machmans back! I see an easy 11 second car, for about 5 grand maybe alittle less

Nitrous and exhuast is going to be 1500 bucks... car is 1800, gears are 500, wheels and tires 1200, Plus little things like altanator, water pump, powersteering A/c, upgraded motor and trans mounts, If the front end needs any bushings or ball joints! upper and lower control arms, shocks! the lists goes on... You got to plan on spend more then you think, something always happens! oh and a MAF conversion cant forget that!

Nitrous is an outstanding poweradder, and a plus on the intimidation side. But once you hit that button, you better hope your tires can keep you planted. I dont know how many cars ive seen hit the wall while using nitrous. And i dont know how well the 06 gt engines will handle the shots, so dont be suprised if you blow something. And then again, you may be fine. And as we all know, the more you mod, the more prone you are to breaking something.

it all boils down to cylinder wall pressure... if you can run a 8lbs of boost supercharger, you can run a small 125 shot and be fine... your really better off with the NOS because it doesnt increase cylinder wall pressure like BOOST does!

CON, cost... i can do a 200 shot for about 800 bucks..... supercharger is about 4,000 to make 200hp more.. if you got the money supercharger and turbo is perfect... but not on a stock 5.0 block... to run alot of boost you would need a DSS built block or any other custom 5.0 block...

Andy you are right I think going to do head work and put the NOS on it.. If nothing else for car shows and add a nice LED ant night for purge lol to intimidate people lol. As for what Dustin said I am going with the widest BFG D/R I can fit under my car soon as old tires are worn out.

as for what dustin said...when you make big power TRACTION is always a problem.. for about 3000 bucks im going to have a mid 11's stang. all because of the bottle...no bolt ons! thats nitrous, gears, and ignition system! OH and big tire

make it so fun to drive... the set up im going to have isnt going to be crazy, it will be a 1988 5.0 with a 150 shot 3:373 gears with an AOD... should make around 375 to the wheels (at least thats what it is getting jetted to). then after some cylinder heads, injectors mass air conversion..... CAM!, and tranny shit ill make it a 200 shot and should be making about 600 wrhp...

beejay I had a Fox. You need to get rid of your ten holes and put on a set of cobra "R"'s Then lower it and put a st of M/T Drag radials under the car. You wont have a traction problem

Jim you are going to go with NOS as well? I want to do a Paxton supercharger as well in near future. I will be doing cams, Nos, Drag radials, and one piece driveshaft. I will also be adding some other goodies here and there you know

i kinda like the stock rims, i was thinking about powder coating them black, and i got a huge traction patch (285-60-15's), i just need stickier rubber for the track. whenever i can afford it i am going to go to the junkyard and get another set of steel rims and put slicks on them, and i can switch them out.
