Veterans Day falls on a Monday as opposed to a Friday. The 9th is a school day for San Diego Unified School District so I won't be able to make it.

Nice! We've participated in this parade for the last several years. Its a nice short little parade for the kids. If you have the time, come out and join us.

Spoke with the principal of the school this morning. This event will go on rain or shine. Forecast is for rain in the afternoon, well after the parade. He needs convertible to help transport dignitaries, but would appreciate any of our cars. The meeting spot is about two blocks east of the school in a park's parking lot at 8am. The route is real short and after the parade, we can showoff our car in the parking lot after their ceremony.

I was the lead vehicle in the parade. I had the Chula Vista City Mayor, Cheryl Cox, Veterans Elementary Principal Villanueva, and Chula Vista Elementary Superintendant Acevedo, in my car for the parade.
