Well, if you got good credit you can trade your car in for a V8, I saw a thread in here before... someone else traded their six in for a V8. I guess just look around, the deals are there. Depending how much you owe on your car can judge wether or not it will even be worth it.

I agree with you Danny, but if hes got a good co-signer and isnt in the hole on his V6, he could get a new one on the first time buyer deals, the big three were bailed out so I dunno if the situation would get better or not. Probably would be easier than to drop a vette engine and tranny in his stang right now. =)

Well that is good Pouya that you paid in cash. But credit is a double edge sword. If you don't have a credit history, you can't get a loan. In order to establish a credit history, you need to have a loan or credit cards. I recommend no on the credit cards. They consider you a risk without a credit history. Credit is a different animal. It Sux

Pouya, i see where you are coming from on wanting to have a sleeper. i had an 06 V6 with a 100 hot of nitrous. believe me it was fun pissing off V8 owners, but it got EXPENSIVE fast! i make a pretty decent living too. i traded my V6 in on an 05 GT and loving every second of it.

In my opinion, save up about 1500-2000 dollars for a down payment and trade in your V6 for a V8.

once you add a V8, youll need to replace the drivetrain too

i thought the same way, but i haven't looked back since i got the GT. i'll be throwing my Nitrous onto the GT now.

V6 on nitrous -287rwhp 422 rwtq
GT on nitrous- 400+ rwhp 450+rwtq{and my trans and rear end won't break as easily}

that made my decision
