Obama Fails To Salute Medal Of Honor Winner

Last week, Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta became the first living service member from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars to receive the Medal of Honor, the country's top military award.

But like most of the brave men and women who serve, Giunta knows he wasn't out there fighting for medals or recognition, and he accepted the award with admirable humility and heartfelt acknowledgment of those who have died in battle.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Giunta got a hug, not a military salute, from President Obama.

Am I jaded by my hatred of this lying bastard of a President or am I justified of my anger of this weak-kneed, effeminate socialist bastard? Doesn't this moron have enough respect to at least take the time to learn military protocols and traditions?
Things like this just add to my anger. My anger is from seeing "My America" slowly being eroded away from these power hungry liberal bitches and effeminate liberal men.

It makes me just want to sell everything I have, buy a 85ft sailboat, fully provision it and put the remainder in gold in a Swiss account that I can draft off from time to time. I just don't see my America coming back and that really SUCKS.

I really feel for you guys serving now. I think current times would severely test my devotion that I had for my Commander in Chief.

You need a lot of support and backing from various groups to be elected President nowadays. Presidents (both D and R) then spend their tenure in office repaying those special interest groups that helped them get elected. It totally influences their agendas which don't always have the common citizen's interests at heart. People can complain about liberals all day, but the conservatives are no different. All BOTH sides have been doing lately is playing the blame game and THAT'S why this country is going downhill. I am like 90% of Americans who are moderates and just shake my head in disgust at the current state of politics.
